Georgie is the physio to see if you feel stuck in pain, injury, stress or illness and want to find greater ease in doing the activities that are important to you. You will only see her, one on one, with the complete focus on you.
There’s no switching around of therapists or doubling up of clients.
Georgie offers four types of interventions
Pain recovery plans
We understand how difficult it is when pain keep reoccurring or is with you daily. We will explore the big picture, look at what has been tried, what has and hasn’t worked, assess patterns of moving, doing, thinking and feeling that may be maintaining pain and find new answers to persisting problems. Treatments focus on creating new patterns to retrain the pain system including the four Ms – movement, mindfulness, manual therapy and mindset.
Health condition coaching
If you’ve been diagnosed with a long term physical or mental illness it’s understandable to feel sad, angry and worried about the future. You have a choice, however, as to how you respond to your illness. Georgie can help you put together a body-mind plan, that fits your lifestyle, to help you feel stronger and more confident. This will give you and your body the best chance of keeping fit, doing the activities that are important to you, reducing symptoms and slowing progression. Some examples include: multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, chronic respiratory illness, heart disease, digestive issues, arthritis, anxiety or depression.
Mindfulness mentoring
If you’ve already done some training maybe you’re ready for a boost, motivation to re-engage, a specific practice to meet your needs, a mentor to guide you. If you want to try mindfulness for the first time I can help you learn. If you’re a health professional some support through stressful times or mentoring in bringing more mindfulness into your work.

More about the sessions
Georgie brings her unique skillset, extensive experience and kind, curious presence to help people looking for lasting change.
She will help you make sense of your pain, injury, illness or stress and uncover your unique pathway towards health and healing. Treatment may include a few specialised one on one sessions including hands on, mindful movement and mindfulness training.
All new patient appointments are one hour. Reviews are either one hour or 30 minutes depending on need.
Group programs
Georgie teaches group programs as part of treatment, including the internationally recognised courses MBSR Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and Positive Neuroplasticity, her unique mindful movement (gentle yoga) classes and BODYMAP an approach to prevent and treat persistent pain.
Why groups?
Research has shown that small group programs are an effective and economical way to create positive health change. You might be surprised that after you been assessed and understand what is required to heal, group learning with an experienced facilitator can be more effective that one on one. Coming together with others helps us realise we’re not alone, to recognise our personal strengths and to learn from each other.
Our groups are not “therapy” but an opportunity to learn valuable life skills.
Currently groups are run online via zoom. Ask Georgie about these at your appointment.
